Three Albion players past and present have boosted their promotion challenge.
Kazenga LuaLua, Joel Lynch and Grant Hall all played a part in a 1-0 win for QPR against third-placed Reading at the Madejski Stadium tonight.
Winger LuaLua, signed on loan for the rest of the season by Rangers on Tuesday, made his debut for Ian Holloway's side as a 73rd minute substitute.
Centre-half pairing Lynch and Hall helped keep Reading at bay after Jamie Mackie's first half goal.
Reading remain eight points adrift of leaders Albion in the Championship and have now played a game more.
