Albion will check on Sebastien Pocognoli ahead of their showdown with Newcastle.
The Belgian international left-back departed the action late in the 3-0 win at home to Reading with an ongoing groin issue.
He was replaced by Fikayo Tomori for the closing stages.
Pocognoli did not appear to be limping or in great discomfort but boss Chris Hughton was unwilling to take chances.
Hughton said: “He felt his groin in the last game (at Barnsley) and managed to get through almost 90 minutes (yesterday).
“My gut feeling is he won’t be too bad. Whether he will be ready for Tuesday, we will have to wait and see.”
