Albion are hoping one of Fikayo Tomori’s best mates can do them a big favour – as their young defender prepares for Leeds.

Tomori, on loan from Chelsea, is on red alert for the Seagulls’ clash at Elland Road as injuries hit the defensive ranks.

His close friend Tammy Abraham is set for a first home start for his loan club Bristol City since February 4 as they tackle third-placed Huddersfield tomorrow. Abraham missed five City fixtures while back at Chelsea recovering from a thigh injury and returned in a 1-0 win at Wigan.

City returned to the drop-zone on Tuesday when Blackburn drew at Fulham but they are unbeaten in three games and desperate to stay up.

Eighteen-goal Abraham said: “Hopefully we can just kick on from here.

“The hunger is there in the dressing room. We’ll continue to give our all to fight and stay in the Championship.”

Abraham last scored at Ashton Gate to salvage a 2-2 draw against Sheffield Wednesday on January 31.
