Albion are attracting global interest in their brand as they head for the Premier League.

Blue chip companies are queuing up to go into partnership with the Seagulls.

Ex-skipper Paul Rogers, the club’s commercial manager, revealed to The Argus: “We are in a really solid commercial position.

“But it will open a lot more opportunities for global companies, national companies, to put us on the map and get more of their marketing spend. I had 15 emails last week about potential partnerships.

"Enquiries are inbound instead of us looking for them, so that’s been the biggest difference we’ve seen in the last couple of weeks.

“There are some global brands in there, airlines and tyre and timing partners, all things we couldn’t have dreamt of when we had the Portakabins at Withdean.”

American Express already sponsor the stadium at Falmer and Albion’s hi-tech training complex in Lancing.
