SUCH were the numbers at Sunday’s parade it was difficult to grasp the scale of the event.

But this incredible shot courtesy of photographers Timothy Hill and Victoria Jones gives some indication.

The pair used a drone to get the photo, which shows the parade approaching Adelaide Crescent, Hove.

To the left of shot you can make out the stage where thousands awaited the arrival of their heroes.

A cavalcade of six buses set off from near Concorde 2 for Hove Lawns on Sunday afternoon.

Police estimate up to 100,000 people lined the route to see the promotion heroes.

Fans and players described the parade as a day to remember with Albion boss Chris Hughton telling The Argus it was one of the highlights of his long career.

The 58-year-old said: “It’s right up there.

“We knew there were going to be big numbers, I’m surprised how big they are.

“This is testament to what the football club means to the city and what this group of lads have done for it.”

Season ticket holder Paul Bristow, 44, from Brighton, said: “After 34 years of waiting to get back into the Premier League it is an immense feeling to witness this parade. This is a day I will remember for the rest of my life. We are going up and we could not be more ready for it.”
