Bruno has praised outgoing loanee Fikayo Tomori for his efforts.
But the Albion skipper stopped short of asking him about a return to the Amex next season.
The young Chelsea defender came off the bench to play key roles against Birmingham and QPR during the five-game winning run which powered them to promotion.
He also did well in the closing 1-1 draw at Aston Villa.
Bruno told The Argus: “He is a really good player with enormous qualities. He has a brilliant future in front of him.
“It is always hard when you are not playing but, when he had his chance, he played at a really high level.
“Whether he comes back or not next season is not in our hands but he brought us a lot when he was here. All I did was thank him for what he contributed.”
Tomori is currently at the under-20s World Cup with England, who play their first match against Argentina in South Korea tomorrow.
