David Stockdale is heading to Birmingham City.

The Albion goalkeeper has agreed a three-year deal with the Championship outfit.

Stockdale, who had been offered a new contract by Albion, is set to take over from ex-Seagulls keeper Tomasz Kuszczak as first choice at St Andrew's.

His current deal at the Amex expires at the end of the month, when he will formally become a Blues player.

Birmingham have described the deal as a "major transfer coup".
