Albion target Tammy Abraham had a frustrating night as England’s under-21s drew a Euro blank.

The Chelsea forward had a couple of near misses during the 0-0 draw against Sweden in Poland.

But he had to leave star billing to Jordan Pickford, who saved a second-half penalty.

Abraham twice volleyed over in the first period and was also denied by the Swedish goalkeeper after bundling his way through.

He continues to attract interest from clubs including the Seagulls and Newcastle.

But his suitors will have to wait until at least after the Euros for a decision.

That trip home could come in two games’ time if Adie Boothroyd’s side do not improve.

The England boss said: “We want to qualify for the semi-finals and, in order to do that, we have to win games but it's also really important we didn't lose."
