Albion midfielder Oliver Norwood is set to stay in the Championship - by joining Fulham on loan.
Terms between the clubs have been agreed and Norwood has been given permission to undergo a medical at Craven Cottage.
The Argus revealed last month that Albion were willing to listen to interest in the Northern Ireland international.
Norwood, 26, signed from Reading last summer on a three-year deal, has been involved in the Seagulls' pre-season programme but does not figure in manager Chris Hughton's Premier League plans.
