Albion boss Chris Hughton believes Oliver Norwood's season-long loan move to Fulham will benefit all parties.
The Northern Ireland international midfielder has completed his switch to Craven Cottage.
Norwood, 26, made 16 starts and 17 substitute appearances in the Seagulls' Championship promotion campaign last season.
Hughton said: "Ollie made a key contribution towards last season's success and this is a good move for all three parties involved. It gives Ollie the opportunity to play regular football.
"Fulham are getting an excellent midfield player and we'll monitor his progress throughout the season."
