Dale Stephens admits Albion are not posing enough of a goal threat.

The Seagulls are still searching for their first goal back in the top flight.

And their midfielder felt they did not really look like getting it in the 2-0 defeat at Leicester City.

Glenn Murray beat Kasper Schmeichel with a nice finish but from an offside position.

Dale Stephens works hard to close down Marc Albrighton

The Dane made straightforward saves from Tomer Hemed and Solly March while Wes Morgan blocked an on-target Jamie Murphy blast.

Albion also struggled to create in the openings in the 2-0 defeat to Manchester city.

Stephens said: “We had spells of the game where we were comfortable but we didn’t really look like we were going to score.

“We need to work on being better with the ball, being more of a threat.

“I think we have done well to contain both teams over the two games.

“But we haven’t had a real threat of our own.”

Going back to last season, Albion have only netted once – a Murray penalty – in five games since March fired home the goal against Wigan which secured promotion.
