Chris Hughton is convinced Albion can play better than they produced at Leicester.
But he has urged them to be resilient as they look to get a foothold in the Premier League.
Albion trailed from the first minute and went down 2-0.
Hughton was disappointed with his side’s performance.
He said: “I know our players can play better than we have – and I know our players will play better than what we did (yesterday).”
The Albion boss added: “It’s about staying in games, being 1-0 down and not playing so well and looking for an opportunity to stay in the game.
“It’s about getting back in whichever way – a bit of quality, a bit of luck, a fortunate penalty. There will be many days like that.
“What this group of players can’t afford to do is get their heads down because every game we play is an opportunity for us to get something.”
