Albion away fans are set for the unusual experience of watching around 40 different players in action at the same venue in a matter of days.

The Seagulls visit Bournemouth in the Premier League on Friday (8pm).

They return to the Vitality Stadium four nights later in the third round of the Carabao Cup (7.45pm).

Albion boss Chris Hughton and Bournemouth counterpart Eddie Howe are expected to field vastly different line-ups across the double-header.

Hughton made wholesale changes for the Seagulls' Carabao Cup second round win at home to Barnet, Howe likewise in Bournemouth's victory at Birmingham.

Both will be keen to give minutes again to players on the fringes.

They will also have one eye on the Premier League tests that follow.

Albion host Newcastle at the Amex on Sunday week (4pm).

Bournemouth, next-to-bottom without a point after the opening four matches, are at Everton the day before (3pm).
