Record buy Jose Izquierdo will make his full debut for Albion as they make a rapid return to Bournemouth tomorrow night.

And deadline day signing Ezequiel Schelotto will be handed his first appearance for the Seagulls.

Boss Chris Hughton has confirmed to The Argus that both will start the Carabao Cup third round tie at the Vitality Stadium.

Colombian winger Izquierdo, signed from Brugge for £13.5 million, made a second successive late substitute appearance away from home in the Premier League in Friday’s 2-1 defeat at Bournemouth.

Schelotto, the Argentinian-born Italian right-back from Sporting Lisbon, was in the matchday squad for the first time as cover for Liam Rosenior in the absence of injured captain Bruno.

Hughton will ring the changes again, as he did for the second round victory over Barnet at the Amex.

He is mulling over the role for the versatile Izquierdo as he decides whether to risk Glenn Murray against his former club. Murray has made two late substitute appearances in place of Tomer Hemed since suffering ankle damage.

Hughton said: “The only area I have got to think about is that at this moment, with no Sam Baldock, we’ve in effect got two number nines.

“Certainly the squad will get a really good opportunity.”

Eddie Howe is also expected to make widespread changes to the Bournemouth line-up.

Bruno (back) could return for Newcastle’s Premier League visit on Sunday. Hughton said: “I’m hoping the fact he didn’t play will mean he is available.”
