Summer signing Ezequiel Schelotto believes it is just a matter of time before he breaks into Albion's Premier League side.

The Italian right-back has made two sub appearances spanning 24 minutes in total and is yet to feature at the Amex since arriving from Sporting Lisbon at the end of August.

Schelotto told Portugese newspaper Correio da Manhã: "I'm still at a disadvantage with my colleagues, trying to make up for time lost. Now I feel good, getting better and missing only having more minutes of game in competition.

"It's only a matter of time before I get in the team. I'm very confident that my opportunity will arrive."

Argentina-born Schelotto has settled quickly on the south coast with his family.

He said: "The company of my wife and daughter is crucial here because we only train in the morning and I can spend the rest of the day with them in the beautiful city of Brighton.

"Being with those we love the most, especially in these early stages, is very important."
