BOSS Chris Hughton has targeted back-to-back wins as the next step in Albion’s Premier League adventure.
The Seagulls tackle Stoke at the Amex tonight (8pm) with the chance to follow up their 1-0 success at Swansea at the start of the month.
That was their second away triumph on the trot after beating West Ham at the London Stadium - but each of their previous three victories was followed by a defeat or draw.
Hughton told The Argus: “Three points is difficult.
“We are on the back of two away wins, which gives us a lot of gratification.
“But for a club like us to get back-to-back wins would show the level we are playing at.
“It’s tough. I remember being told by somebody with one of the promoted teams that they didn’t get their first away win until February-March.
“That can happen and it’s exactly the same for a team getting promoted to get back-to-wins.
“They are hard to come by. Any way we are able to do that would certainly be a major boost for us.”
Albion have not won games back-to-back in the top tier since September 1982, when they beat Arsenal and Sunderland at home.
