Chris Hughton will need all his experience to conjure a result against Spurs at Wembley on Wednesday - but he has done it before with Norwich.

The Albion boss, 59 today, beat Tottenham twice and lost only once in five meetings when he was manager of the Canaries.

In his first season at Carrow Road, in 2012-13, they won 2-1 at home in the League Cup, drew 1-1 at home in the League and 1-1 at White Hart Lane with a Robert Snodgrass goal.

The following season, the Canaries lost 2-0 away but won 1-0 at home with another Snodgrass goal.

Hughton is the fourth oldest manager in the Premier League, behind Roy Hodgson (70), Arsene Wenger (68) and Sam Allardyce (63).

He made the first of his 398 appearances in 11 years as a player at Spurs when Tottenham rival Mauricio Pochettino was only seven-years-old.

Hughton won the FA Cup (twice) and Charity Shield with Spurs at the old Wembley. He was also a runner-up in the League Cup and FA Cup.

Once his playing days were over, he became part of the coaching staff under Christian Gross, George Graham, Glenn Hoddle, David Pleat and Martin Jol.
