Albion under-23 forward Jordan Maguire-Drew has signed on loan for League Two side Coventry City until the end of the season.

The 20-year-old from Crawley made 14 appearances for Lincoln in all competitions while on loan at Sincil Bank during the first half of this season.

He joins Mark Robins’ outfit with them occupying the third automatic promption place.

Robins has been keen to add pace to his attacking set-up at the Ricoh.

The move could see Maguire-Drew play in his home town with Coventry due at Crawley on April 14.

Albion under-23s coach Simon Rusk said: “Jordan has benefitted from playing in the EFL already this season and joining Coventry will only add further to his experience.

“He’s got the chance of helping the club win promotion and that’s an exciting challenge for Jordan, and something he can learn a lot from. We’ll keep track of his progress and we wish him all the best at Coventry.”

Maguire-Drew helped Worthing win promotion from the eighth tier last season and was a major part of the Dagenham side who went close in the National League last term.
