Albion have Jesus on their side to save them from relegation from the Premier League.

Or at least another top flight version of Manchester City star Gabriel Jesus in new £14 million record signing Jurgen Locadia.

The Brazilian striker with the runaway leaders (below) is the player Locadia believes he most resembles in style.

The Argus: The Dutchman said: "He's not only standing in the pole position, he's moving around, going right, going left. He likes to play football and to score goals and I think he's quite similar to me.

"I like to play football and I like different positions, so I feel like more than a target man.

"I've played most of the time as a striker but also the last three seasons (at PSV Eindhoven) as a left-winger. The last year has gone pretty well. I scored a lot of goals from the left-wing."

Locadia, 24, is a football junkie. He said: "Man, I'm obsessed with football – I follow everybody. I watched a lot of dvd's of Van Persie when he was at Arsenal. Robben at Chelsea also."

His main interest away from the game is music. He has released two of his own tracks and produces as well.

"It's good to have something when you come from practice to relax, clear your mind and get your focus for the next day," Locadia said.

"That's the nice thing for me about music. Just sit and make some music on your laptop. It's about producing the music for me, not just listening."

Albion fans will be more interested in Locadia hitting the goal charts once he has recovered from a hamstring injury to make his debut next month.
