Albion have been handed a tough draw away to Manchester United in the quarter-finals of the FA Cup.
The repeat of the 1982-83 final, which the Seagulls lost after a replay, will take place over the weekend of March 17 and 18.
The Seagulls reached the last eight with a 3-1 victory at home to Coventry today.
Jose Mourinho's United later won 2-0 at Huddersfield.
Albion were unlucky 1-0 losers at Old Trafford earlier in the season in the Premier League.
They were due to be in Manchester on FA Cup quarter-final weekend to face City at the Etihad.
That match will now be rearranged towards the end of the season.
