Albion boss Chris Hughton says it will still be a shock if Albion gun down Arsenal.
Ex-Gunner Paul Merson and Michael Owen are among the pundits tipping the Seagulls to heap more misery on Arsene Wenger at the Amex tomorrow (1.30pm).
Wenger’s side have just lost 3-0 twice on the bounce to Manchester City, while Albion are unbeaten in six games in the Premier League and FA Cup.
Asked if it will be a shock if the Seagulls reel off a fourth straight home win in all competitions, Hughton said: “I think for most people it would be, because irrespective of anything, we would still be underdogs.
“You can’t under-estimate the quality they’ve got.
“It’s been a difficult last couple of games for them, but they were also playing against a team that is probably playing football as good as we have seen in this country for a long time.
“They are full of quality and they would still be the favourites. We will have to work very hard to get a result on Sunday.”
