Jurgen Locadia will equal a 107-year-old Albion record if he scores against Arsenal.

The £14 million record signing could become the first player since Jimmy Smith in 1911 to net in his first three games for the club.

The Dutch striker from PSV Eindhoven struck on his debut in the FA Cup against Coventry at the Amex.

He came off the bench at home to Swansea last weekend to make it two in two, emulating Ashley Barnes.

The only player apart from Smith to score in three games in a row was Clem Barker in 1901-02, Albion’s inaugural season.

Locadia will have to go some to catch Barker. He notched in each of his first seven appearances.
