SOLLY MARCH is targeting more goals as Albion prepare for a crucial Amex double-header.

The winger has netted once in 28 Premier League appearances, at Bournemouth in September.

March is eager to improve his goal return – and hopes to get the opportunity at home to Leicester on Saturday and Huddersfield a week later.

He told The Argus: “I just need to get that end product and a few more goals, that’s the main thing.

“If you are getting goals, people see you are doing well. I think that’s what I need to add to my game.

“A run of games helps, it gets you into a rhythm and fit again. You need that match time to get sharp.”

March deputised for the suspended Anthony Knockaert in the FA Cup exit at Manchester United.

Knockaert is also banned for the Leicester and Huddersfield matches, which could ease Albion to safety.

March said: “You’ve got to take your chance when you get it and, hopefully, I’ll get a few more chances to take.

“The next two games I think if we get four points then we’ll be in a good place. Especially Huddersfield, Leicester as well. They are two home games, I suppose you think you have got more of a chance of winning, definitely.”

Boss Chris Hughton is weighing up his wide options for Leicester’s visit.

Record signing Jurgen Locadia, yet to make his full debut in the Premier League, played on the left at Old Trafford where Hughton ended the tie with March’s replacement Jose Izquierdo on the right.

March and the rest of Albion’s non-internationals began the build-up to Leicester’s visit with warm weather training in Tenerife last week.

Izquierdo and goalkeeper Mathew Ryan could face each other when Colombia play Australia in a friendly at Craven Cottage tomorrow night.
