Charlie Oatway has been awarded the role of first team coach by Albion chief Gus Poyet.
Oatway, the Seagulls' 36-year-old former skipper and community officer, has been helping out since Poyet's appointment last month.
Steve Brown, who was also contributing to match preparations at the beginning of Poyet's reign, reverts back to his job as youth team coach.
Oatway and Brown assisted one-match caretaker Martin Hinshelwood in-between the sacking of Russell Slade and arrival of Poyet with his No. 2 Mauricio Taricco.
