Poyet to make changes

Albion boss Gus Poyet will make changes to both the team and tactics against Huddersfield at Withdean tomorrow night in an attempt to cure the Seagulls' wretched home form.

Tommy Elphick and Gary Dicker suffered slight knocks in Saturday's draw at Leyton Orient but will be available for selection.

See the full story in tomorrow's Argus, plus skipper Andrew Crofts reveals his ambition to play for Wales against England and Elphick talks about Albion's set piece agony.

Huddersfield have only won three league games on the road this season. They've lost 7 out of 12.

This match is highly winnable if the team performs as they did in the first half on Saturday. It is definitely winnable if we had attacking options down the left to compare with EB on the right.

Its probably due to lack of match fitness and the fact that he hasn't seen a way to fit him into his formation where he only uses 1 winger.

I thought it was a strange signing at the time but never really saw it as anything other than cover.

I'll be very interested to see what he does though. My season ticket for the last 2 seasons has meant that I've paid £100 per home win which is truly shocking.

Just think how many we could have won if he had changed it before hand.

We could have got the strikers involved and had a great start to 2010. instead just 4 league goals from our front 2 in 12 games whilst playing that awful formation

I've got a cunning plan! Blindfold Glen Murray. Put him in a car and drive it for 3 hours. When we stop tell him we're in Huddersfield to play an away game. Then sit back and watch him score a couple! Simple.

the set up of the side is a puzzle, when mcnulty played it made sense not to play a left winger as they would both get caught forward.. cox is not the answer... for attacking options mcnulty should start, maybe trying the diamond again ? that means putting bennet to right back! we are tighter at the back, but not producing enough for the forwards. tomo is a massive game.. a point is the least we need.. or with forthcoming games.. pressure is mounting on the manager to find some winning fo at home. albion must have worst home record over last 3 seasons in europe?

McNulty has fallen out of favour since his poor performance at Villa Park. Has a nice left foot and can cross a ball well. Unfortunately his defending has not been strong enough since he came back and since Painter came into the side we have looked far more assured defensively aside from the two inexplicable errors from Virgo and Kuipers. Would like to see him play a bit in midfield as think his left side delivery could be an excellent supply line. After all he has been through it would be a shame if he was sidelined.

If it ain't broke don't fix it...however our home form is a far cry from the fortress Withdean of old so try anything and see if we can score at home

Nice one - i've got an even more cunning plan. Play Nicky Forster up front with him!
