ADAM El-Abd has backed Albion to negotiate another double test against promotion candidates.
The Seagulls go to Colchester tonight and host Swindon on Saturday after recently drawing at Leeds and winning at Charlton back-to-back.
Defender El-Abd said: “We’ve got two games against play-off contenders, or even automatic promotion contenders, so we are not kidding ourselves.
“We know it’s going to be very tough but we are going into the games full of confidence, having been unbeaten in six on our travels. On our day we’ve no need to fear anyone as we’ve proved in the past.”
Albion could complete a hat-trick of league victories for the first time this season after following up the Charlton victory with an overdue home win against Exeter.
But El-Abd, who continues at centre-half with Adam Virgo banned, has warned they are not out of the relegation woods yet.
“There is always pressure until we get safe,” he said. “We’ve won two on the bounce which has given us a little bit of breathing space but we could just as easily lose two on the bounce and be right back down there in the mire.
“Hopefully we can string another couple of victories together and propel ourselves even further up the league.”
