Diego Arismendi has missed out on a possible Albion debut due to a slight knock suffered in training.

The new loan signing from Stoke travelled with the squad for tonight's game at Colchester but is not in the 18.

Manager Gus Poyet has named the same starting XI that beat Exeter 2-0 at home nine days ago.

Young Mitchell Walker is on the bench in place of Michel Kuipers, who is out for the season with a broken finger.

Colchester have made three changes to their side with recalls for Kem Izzet, Kayode Odejayi and former Crawley defender Magnus Okuonghae who will partner ex-Albion loan signing Matt Heath in defence.
