Ryan Harley reckons he can realise his Premier League dream with Albion after missing out on the top flight at Swansea.
The Seagulls’ new £250,000 midfielder did not kick a ball for the promoted Welshmen. They signed him from Exeter in January when they were still in the Championship, then loaned him straight back to the League One outfit.
Harley said: “It was a bit of a strange one, going back and then coming back again pre-season. I got my head down pre-season and worked hard but the manager (Brendan Rodgers) had his team set from quite early on and I didn’t really want to wait around for a chance which might have taken a while to come. I’m keen to get playing.
“Everyone wants to play in the Premier League and hopefully I’ll get the chance one day. There’s no reason why Brighton won’t get there this season or next season.”
