Albion striker Will Hoskins has rejected a move to Bournemouth, according to reports in Dorset.

But Cherries chairman Eddie Mitchell has not abandoned hope of the situation changing before Tuesday night's transfer window deadline.

Mitchell claims Bournemouth submitted a bid for Hoskins, who turned them down to fight for his place with the Seagulls.

The Bournemouth supremo, speaking to The Argus's sister paper The Echo, said deals for Hoskins and Crawley marksman Matt Tubbs could be rekindled if there is a change in the players' circumstances.

Albion are refusing to comment on transfer talk as they prepare for tomorrow night's FA Cup tie at home to Newcastle. Tickets are still available to fans with a booking history.
