  I agree with your thinking Dr B.
  Disappointed with the result on Saturday but feel the Albion are most effective when Vicente plays if we have a better balanced midfield which your suggested line up would imo provide.
  When we had that poor run in the autumn it seemed that our problems emanated from the full backs. Having strengthened the team there we seem to be playing more compactly which has seen more support for the midfield by the full backs and more support for the strikers from the midfield. The team has benefitted as a result which is well illustrated by Barnes's form and our 'attacking' stats. Even on Saturday we had 8 shots with 6 on target which is significantly better than those in October.
  My only question Dr B is where does Barnes play if your formation is adopted ?"
