Albion’s promotion chasing players have crowned star team mate Vicente as The King.

The Spaniard was involved in both goals and hit the bar after a storming 50-yard run last night.

Ashley Barnes, who hit the Seagulls' second from Vicente’s pass, said: “I’ve got to thank him.

“He’s a magnificent player. He’s the king for us. We all call him The King because he is just fantastic. We need him playing week in and week out."

Albion were well worth the win and Barnes added: “It was a fantastic performance from all the lads, we worked as a team and it paid off.”
