Gonzalez gets Oakwell chance

Albion have given David Gonzalez another chance to impress in goal as they end the season at Barnsley today.

Gary Dicker also comes into the side as Peter Brezovan and Alan Navarro miss out.

Injury-hit Barnsley include former Albion duo Jimmy McNulty, at centre-back, and Craig Davies, up front.

Barnsley: Button; Wiseman, Foster, McNulty, Golbourne; O’Brien, Dawson, Perkins, Clark; Davies, Rose. Subs: Gray, Stone, Hassell, Done, Cotterill.

Albion: Gonzalez; Calderon, Dunk, El-Abd, Mattock; Bridcutt, Dicker; Vicente; Buckley, Barnes, Mackail-Smith. Subs: Ankergren, Sparrow, Assulin, Sparrow, Vokes.

I see that Sparrow gets two spots on the Bench.
Does that mean if he comes on and is 'red carded' that he can return ? I imagine not, so who is the mystery 5th sub ?
Looks as if Poyet wants to end on attacking note judging by the bench.

For those who made the long trip it would have been disappointing to find that, Assulin,Lua, & Noone where not in the starting line -up,after a nil,nil draw its going to be a lot longer return trip.
Saints deserve to be promoted they were in the top two places for most of the season
