Macca a doubt but Bruno on course to face Birmingham
Craig Mackail-Smith is doubtful for table-topping Albion's home game against Birmingham on Saturday (5.30pm).
But Bruno has a good chance of being fit for the Seagulls' tilt at a sixth straight victory.
Albion are still waiting for the final results of tests on the hamstring injury sustained by six-goal Mackail-Smith at Millwall on Saturday.
Manager Gus Poyet said: "He has got something in the hamstring. We don't know yet the extent of the injury, so we'll see."
Bruno did not re-appear for the second half at The Den due to a groin injury.
Poyet said of the Spanish right-back: "Bruno is better. It doesn't look like a muscle injury, so it will depend on how he recovers. He has got a big chance to be ready for Saturday."
Andrew Crofts was not quite fit for the Millwall match but Poyet confirmed the Welsh international midfielder will definitely be available for Birmingham after four weeks out with hamstring trouble.
Recent signing Stephen Dobbie, a potential replacement for Mackail-Smith, could have a run-out as an over-age player in the development squad match against Colchester at Lancing tonight (7pm).
Casper Ankergren, Marcos Painter, Lewis Dunk and Toby Agdestein are all lined up for much-needed game time.
The pitch at Culver Road passed a lunchtime inspection.
Blackpool will replace Albion at the top of the Championship if they beat Huddersfield at home tonight.
