Mowbray expects tough test
1:00pm Saturday 20th October 2012 in Albion By Brian Owen
Middlesbrough expect to face Craig Mackail-Smith today
Middlesbrough boss Tony Mowbray is ready for a tough examination at The Amex today.
Mowbray said of Albion: “They’ve got lots of speed, athleticism, technicality.
“Both full-backs play like wingers. Wayne Bridge has got a superb delivery with his left foot.
“They’ve got some big threats - Mackail-Smith, he’s been injured but they’re talking about him coming back.
“They’ve added Crofts from Norwich, they’ve added Orlandi from Swansea, they’ve added Dobbie from Swansea and we know what a talented boy he is if he gets on the pitch.
“They’ve got some good footballers in their midfield areas and attacking areas and lots of options.
“Bridcutt sits at the bottom of the little triangle in midfield.
“So they’ve got options all over the pitch so it’s a big ask for us.
“But it was a big ask for us last season and we went and gave a good account of ourselves so we hope we can do a similar thing (today).”

Mmm. Big up the opposition which makes losing explicable and getting a result a fantastic achievement. TM is a wily old bird or am I just being cynical?
