Crawley stretched their unbeaten run to four games with a hard-fought y1-1 draw at AFC Wimbledon tonight.
Reds broke the deadlock in a scrappy first half on 38 minutes when Jefferson Louis fired a free kick past James Pullen from 20 yards for his third goal of the season.
Wimbledon dominated for long spells in the second half and after Simon Hatton had hit the bar they drew level 14 minutes from time when Chris Cullen's cross was headed home by Danny Kedwell for his ninth goal of the season.
Reds almost won it late on when subs Barry Cogan and Danny Forrest both went close but a draw was the least the home side deserved.
Crawley boss Steve Evans said: "We didn’t play well by any stretch of the imagination but sometimes in the Conference you have to dig in and show a fantastic work ethic and we did that.
"We lacked a lot of quality and if we’d taken the chances we had at the end it would have been harsh. We have underperformed and come away with a shade of the spoils - normally when that happens we get beat so it’s a good point."
