Albion have given Craig Davies and Liam Dickinson the chance to lead them into the second round of the FA Cup.
The pair replace Nicky Forster and Glenn Murray for Gus Poyet's home debut as Seagulls boss as his side face Wycombe Wanderers in a first-round replay.
Forster and Murray have both been rested ahead of Saturday's key league game at home to Leeds.
They are the only changes to the side which started Sunday's outstanding win at Southampton.
Wycombe are expected to play with Matt Harrold as lone frontman after leaving former Crawley hitman Jon-Paul Pittman on the bench.
Harrold, like Murray, scored twice when these sides drew 4-4 at Adams Park in the first meeting.
Wycombe, mauled 6-0 at Huddersfield on Saturday, have relegated Poyet's former Chelsea team mate Michael Duberry to the bench as one of five changes.
The winners tonight will host Rushden and Diamonds in the next round.
We will have regular updates throughout the evening from here at Withdean.
