Crawley Eagles became the new early season leaders in Invitation League division one following a four-wicket win at Southwick.
Eagles, who were denied a place in the newly formed Sussex League division three because their facilities are not up to scratch, dismissed the hosts for 139 with Amir taking 5-29, before Fallah scored 76 not out to seal victory.
Gareth Challen (64 not out) and Kim Dean (55) top scored to help Clymping continue their promising start to the season with a seven-wicket triumph at Wisborough Green. The home side set a target of 166-8 with Ed Bowes making 66.
Title favourites Broadwater suffered a shock six-wicket defeat at Selsey after being restricted to 197-8. Josh Stocks did most of the damage with 4-29, before Tim Fewster (50), Jacob Miles (44 not out) and Nick Horner (43) chalked up most of the winning runs in reply. Nigel Waller was the top scorer for Broadwater with 55.
Portslade moved into third place after Paul Glover (64) and Tom Vanden Neut (56 not out) helped clinch a seven-wicket win over Worthing Chippingdale, who were dismissed for 213 with 74 from Ashley Waymark.
Michael White took 4-36 and Tim Street 4-44 as Horsham Trinity skittled East Preston for 149 to win by 32 runs. Trinity set a target of 181-7 after good knocks from Michael White (50) and Steve Cox (42), while Darryl Rebbetts took 5-40.
Brian Chambers hit 105 as West Chiltington eased past Southwater by 121 runs in division two. Neil Miller (57) and Matt Hemmings (50) also added useful contributions in a total of 252-7, which never looked under threat after Southwater were reduced to ten batsmen due to injury.
Ben Carruthers (96) and Alec Hepburn put on 106 for the third wicket to help St Andrews to a six-wicket home victory against Aldwick.
Eastergate dismissed Felbridge for 130 to win by a wicket thanks largely to figures of 7-22 from Greg Thwaites.
Daniel Smith (80) and Matt Tyson (63) added 139 for the second wicket as Broadbridge Heath amassed 280-5 in a draw against Barns Green. David Baker (79 not out) also did well with the bat, before Martin Hennock (66), Roger Southgate (57) and Adrian Cresdee (44) helped Green to 243-7 in reply.
Gavin Clarke (57) top scored for Storrington in a three-wicket victory against Scaynes Hill, who set a target of 173 after Nick Wright put on 64.
