Kyle McFadzean has been ruled out of Crawley's League One encounter with Walsall at Broadfield Stadium today.

The defender has gone down with flu so Joe Walsh comes in to partner Claude Davis at the back - his first start in the league for five weeks.

Reds are unchanged otherwise from the side which drew 1-1 at Notts County last weekend.

Skipper Gary Alexander remains on the bench with Jonathan Forte starting up front in his final game before returning to Southampton.

John Akinde comes in on the bench after being left out of the squad altogether at Meadow Lane.

Walsall make five changes to the side which lost 3-2 to Lincoln City in the FA Cup after extra time on Tuesday night.

Aaron McCarey replaces David Grof in goal while Andy Taylor comes in at left-back for Mal Benning. Ashley Hemmings is recalled on the left wing with on-loan West Brom midfielder Sam Mantom returning after being ineligible for the cup tie. Will Grigg starts up front after returning from international duty with Northern Ireland.
