Boss Richie Barker believes Crawley deserved a bit of luck as they came from behind to beat Stevenage 2-1.
Reds trailed to a 55th minute goal from Robin Shroot but ended a run of seven league games without a win thanks to strikes from Hope Akpan and Dannie Bulman in the space of four minutes.
Bulman's 69th-minute winner took a big deflection to leave goalkeeper Steve Arnold wrong-footed.
Barker said: "I thought we deserved to win, although we maybe got a little bit of luck with the second goal.
"There was only ever going to be a goal in it but I thought we definitely deserved something out of the game. It was no better a performance than in the last two or three weeks but this time we had that bit of luck you need.
"We haven't been getting the luck recently but even taking that into acccount I thought we were the better side."
