Crawley Town striker Gary Alexander has joined League Two AFC Wimbledon on loan for the rest of the season.
Alexander joined the Reds from Brentford nearly a year ago and has scored 12 goals in 47 appearances.
But he has failed to find the net in his last 21 League One appearances and has fallen down the pecking order at the Broadfield Stadium.
Crawley boss Richie Barker: “We have real competition for places now with the arrival of three strikers in the window and Billy Clarke in outstanding form.
“You can never guarantee any player his place and Gary is the same, even though he has been a superb captain for me and always given his very best in games and training.
“We felt a move for the rest of the season could help Gary rediscover his goalscoring form. I'm sure he will be a success at Wimbledon and he will be back at the end of the season when we will re-assess things.”
