Sonny Bradley makes his Crawley debut in tonight’s Capital One Cup clash with Ipswich Town.

Bradley was an unused substitute in the 1-0 win at Barnsley on Saturday but comes in at left-back in place of Ryan Dickson.

It is a new role for the former Portsmouth defender who is more comfortable at centre-back but impressed Reds boss John Gregory on the left in pre-season.

The only other change to the starting line-up from Saturday sees Bobson Bawling make his full debut in place of skipper Josh Simpson.

Bawling replaced Simpson at half-time at Oakwell after the former Peterborough midfielder limped off with an ankle injury.

There are also two changes on the bench with Connor Essam and Ryan Richefond replacing goalkeeper Raphael Speigel and striker Gavin Tomlin. West Ham do not want Speigel cup-tied so Reds don’t have a keeper on the bench while Tomlin is still not fully fit.

Ipswich make eight changes to the side which won 2-1 against Fulham in the Championship on Saturday with only Luke Chambers, Christophe Berra and Elliott Hewitt retaining their places.

Crawley (4-5-1): Jensen; Oyebanjo, Leacock, Walsh, Bradley; Edwards, Henderson, Smith, Bawling, Young; McLeod. Subs: Dickson, Banya, Essam, Rose, O’Connor, Richefond, Isaacs.

Ipswich (4-4-2): Bialkowski; Hewitt, Chambers, Berra, Clarke; Taylor, Bru, Wordsworth, Henshall; Marriott, Nouble. Subs: Gerkin, Bajner, Hyam, Lawrence, McQueen, Bishop, Wyatt.
