Boss John Gregory admitted Crawley were “bullied” as they crashed to a 5-3 defeat at Notts County today.

Reds were trailing 3-0 at half-time and although they pulled it back to 3-2 early in the second half they were well beaten in the end.

It was the second consecutive comprehensive defeat for Gregory’s men following their 4-1 capitulation at home to Peterborough and he made it clear it was not good enough.

Gregory said: “It is unlike us to get bullied but that is what happened in the first half and we crumbled very poorly.

“It was not good enough. We were second best in lots of things that happened today and got our just desserts.

“We did well to fight our way back into the game but at the end of the day we lost the match in the first half.

“We scored two very good goals and at that point I expected us to get something out of the game but then we went and made another mistake in our own box.”
