John Gregory has labelled tonight’s clash with Walsall as a “must-win” game.
Reds are only a quarter of the way through the season but Gregory is fully aware of the importance of the game following two heavy defeats to Peterborough (4-1) and Notts County (5-3).
The Reds boss said: “It’s a must-win game without any question. I was expecting to see a response from the Peterborough game on Saturday but I didn’t get it so we have got to try to make amends tonight and put one or two things right.”
Reds will be without on-loan midfielder Keith Keane, pictured right, who picked up his fifth booking of the season at Notts County on Saturday with skipper Josh Simpson likely to feature for the first time since pulling a hamstring four weeks ago.
Walsall could welcome back top scorer Tom Bradshaw from a hamstring injury while midfielder Sam Mantom is also back in contention following a knee problem, although neither is expected to start.
