Crawley must hit the road in the first round of the FA Cup for the fourth year running.

Reds were drawn against League One rivals Yeovil Town yesterday having travelled to Hednesford, Met Police and Bury at the first stage of the competition in the last three seasons.

Amazingly they have been drawn away the last eight times they have reached the first round with their last home draw against Northampton in 1991.

Boss John Gregory had been hoping for a home tie but will not be too disappointed at the prospect of playing a Glovers side who have picked up just one point from their last six games to slip to third bottom in League One.

That dismal run started when they went down 2-0 at the Checkatrade.com Stadium at the end of September with Marvin Elliott – who had a trial with Yeovil during the summer – scoring both goals.

Elliott, pictured above, is expected to feature for Reds when they take on St Francis Rangers in the Sussex Senior Cup tonight having been left out of the squad altogether for the 1-1 draw at Gillingham on Saturday.

Gregory says the Jamaica international is likely to play 45 minutes in what will be a strong team at Oakwood FC (7.30pm) Gregory said: “I have had senior players asking if they can play which is a good sign. They feel like they need a game which is really pleasing.

“We don’t have very many in our squad so we have little option but to put out a good team. We’ll use it as a training session really so instead of training for an hour and a half we will play a match.

“Hopefully we can keep everyone out of trouble and St Francis will not be too tough on us and start lashing around and kicking us.”
