Crawley Town have signed Wales international goalkeeper Lewis Price on a month’s loan from Crystal Palace.
The 30-year-old could make his debut for the Reds in Saturday’s League One clash with Scunthorpe United at the Checkatrade.com Stadium.
Price began his career at Ipswich Town, making 68 league appearances before joining Derby County for an undisclosed fee in July 2007.
After three years with the Rams he joined Crystal Palace in 2010 as understudy to Julian Speroni but has found chances limited at Selhurst Park.
The Bournemouth-born stopper has also had loan spells with Cambridge United, MK Dons, Luton Town, Brentford and Mansfield Town in a career spanning more than 100 Football League appearances.
He has won 11 full caps for Wales but has not featured for his country since 2012.
Price will compete with the No.1 jersey at Crawley with Jamie Ashdown. The Reds’ other goalkeeper, Brian Jensen, was one of five players transfer-listed last week.
