Crawley Town have signed highly-rated non-league player Blair Anderson on a short-term agreement.

The 22-year-old attacking midfielder impressed new boss Dean Saunders while training with the club this week.

Anderson can play on either flank and joins from Midland League side Basford United where he had caught the eye of several Football League clubs.

Saunders said: “It’s a big step up for Blair but I think he’s got something about him, he’s a good prospect.

“It’s an opportunity for Blair to have a look at us and for us to assess him but he is someone I think will add to what we’ve already got.”

Anderson said: “I’m pleased to be at Crawley. I think I can step up to this level and I’m looking forward to the opportunity to show what I can do in a Crawley Town shirt.”
