Lee Fowler has been handed a full debut as Crawley try to bounce back from their midweek hammering at the hands of Doncaster today.

Fowler comes into central midfield in place of Jimmy Smith for the clash with Barnsley at the Checkatrade.com Stadium.

The elevation of the former Coventry midfielder from the bench is one of three changes to the side who were smashed 5-0 by Rovers.

The other two are enforced with Joe Walsh starting a three match ban for his sending off against Doncaster and Lanre Oyebanjo injured.

Lewis Young has got the nod to play at right-back over Bobson Bawling while Sonny Bradley comes into the centre of defence with Dean Leacock still not fit.

Marvin Elliott will wear the armband for the first time in the absence of Walsh.

Caretaker Barnsley bosses Mark Burton and Paul Heckingbottom make three changes to the side which lost 2-1 at home to Fleetwood on Tuesday in what turned out to be Danny Wilson’s final game in charge.

Mason Holgate and George Smith come into the centre of defence while former Albion loan striker Leroy Lita starts up front.
