Dean Morgan is handed a full debut for Crawley Town as they bid to secure a vital win in their battle to beat relegation against Oldham Athletic at the Checkatrade.com Stadium today.

The former Wycombe striker makes his first start since joining from Woking in January as one of four changes to the side which drew 0-0 at Crewe on Friday.

Morgan – who has yet to score in nine appearances as a substitute – is expected to play in the hole behind top scorer Izale McLeod in a 4-4-1-1 formation.

Ryan Dickson comes back into a defence missing the injured Darren Ward and Dean Leacock with Sonny Bradley shuffling into the centre alongside Richard Wood.

Marvin Elliott starts in place of the suspended Anthony Wordsworth in the centre of midfield with Lewis Young preferred to Mattias Pogba on the wing.

Manager Dean Saunders has also kept faith with veteran goalkeeper Brian Jensen despite Lewis Price being fully recovered from the concussion he suffered against Leyton Orient two weeks ago.

Oldham also make four changes to the side which earned a creditable 1-1 draw with League One leaders Bristol City on Friday.

Jonathan Forte, Luke Woodland and Anthony Gerrard all drop out due to injury while Dominic Poloen is relegated to the bench. James Wilson, Liam Kelly, Joseph Mills and Carl Winchester come in.
