Josh Simpson believes Crawley can still pull off a great escape.
Reds were thrust back into the relegation zone after letting a 3-2 lead slip at Peterborough United on Saturday.
The result means they need to beat Coventry City in their final game at the Checkatrade.com Stadium to avoid dropping into League Two.
Simpson said: “We’re all hurting but we’ve got to regroup as we’ve got a massive game on Sunday and we know if we win that there’s every chance we’ll stay up.
“We can’t feel sorry for ourselves. We’ve put in too much hard work since the gaffer (Dean Saunders) came in to throw it all away.
“Everyone has been saying for weeks that it would go down to the last game and unfortunately it has but we’ve got enough in the dressing room to come out on top.”
