Crawley Town have handed a short-term deal to Belgian left-back Bryan Van Den Bogaert.
The former Antwerp player featured in pre-season games against Reading and Nuneaton after being recommended to manager Mark Yates.
He will provide an answer to a left-back dilemma for Crawley following the summer departure of Ryan Dickson to Yeovil.
Van Den Bogaert, 23, is expected to play at Oxford United tomorrow providing international clearance comes through.
Yates said: "Bryan did well in both games and showed his commitment by driving five hours just to get here to play against Reading.
"It's a position in the team we have been looking at and this is an opportunity for Bryan to impress us still further."
